Howard Gilman Waterfront Park

Located in downtown St. Marys, the Howard Gilman Waterfront Park has several areas that can be rented individually or the entire park can be rented.  The application and a color map of the park can be found in the Document Center on the left.  These areas include the stage, gazebo, fountain, and picnic area.  Please see below for the fee and deposit schedule.

Rental fees for the Howard Gilman Waterfront Park are as follows:

• Amphitheater Stage:  $300 Special Events Rental Fee PLUS $100 Deposit Payable for a total cost of $400.  (Please note that the reservation will redeem the $100 deposit after the event is completed and all of the city rental standards are met).
• Gazebo:  $200 Special Events Rental Fee PLUS $50 Deposit Payable for a total cost of $250.  (Please note that the reservation will redeem the $50 deposit after the event is completed and all of the city rental standards are met).
• Picnic Area:   $100 Special Events Rental Fee PLUS $50 Deposit Payable for a total cost of $150.  (Please note that the reservation will redeem the $50 deposit after the event is completed and all of the city rental standards are met).
• Water Fountain:  $100 Special Events Rental Fee PLUS $25 Deposit Payable for a total cost of $125.  (Please note that the reservation will redeem the $25 deposit after the event is completed and all of the city rental standards are met).
• Entire Park:  $600 Special Events Rental Fee PLUS $200 Deposit Payable for a total cost of $800.  (Please note that the reservation will redeem the $200 deposit after the event is completed and all of the city rental standards are met).
• Entire Park Closure (with City Council Approval):  $600 Special Events Rental Fee PLUS $100 Deposit Payable for a total cost of $700.  (Please note that the reservation will redeem the $100 deposit after the event is completed and all of the city rental standards are met).  (This type of rental is approved for For-profit organizations and includes 10% of the admission charge).
