Installation Voting Assistance Office (IVAO)
First, register and request your ballot. Fill out the Federal Post Card Application (FPCA) at FVAP.gov to get absentee ballots for all three elections in 2020. (For the General Election on November 3, do it by August 1.)
Second, when your ballot arrives, fill it out and send it in.
The Federal Voting Assistance Program makes it that simple. Get anything else you need to vote absentee at FVAP.gov. If you need additional assistance or have questions contact your Unit Voting Assistance Officer (UVAO) or your Installation Voting Assistance Officer (IVAO), Abigail R. Glover in Bldg. 35, Room 170 or at 706-545-1876.
Mission
The installation voting assistance office is available to assist with voter information and registration. All service members, their families, retirees and other U.S. civilian DoD employees of the Fort Benning community have access to the installation voting assistance office.
Voter Information and Assistance
Federal Voting Assistance Program (FVAP): This website provides information to U.S. citizens covered by the Uniformed and Overseas Citizens Absentee Voting Act (UOCAVA), which includes military members on active duty and their dependents. There, you also can find out when your state's elections are scheduled and when Federal Post Card
Federal Post Card Application (FPCA)
Service members, their eligible family members and overseas citizens can use the FPCA to both register to vote and request their absentee ballots. FVAP.gov offers an FPCA online assistant that guides users through the form-completion process, as well as, a fillable PDF form of the FPCA for download.

Federal Write-In Absentee Ballot (FWAB)
The FWAB serves as a backup ballot if the voter does not receive the requested absentee ballot in time. FVAP.gov offers a FWAB online assistant that guides users through the form-completion process, as well as, a fillable PDF form of the FWAB for download.
