Q1: What is this?
A: This site combines features from other well-known sites such as Yelp, Angie’s List, Craig’s List, and FaceBook, and puts it in a well-organized format to use.
Q2: O.K., so what?
A: Some things you can share your experiences with are AMC terminals, CDC centers, DoDDS Schools, Navy/Air Force/Army/Marine Corps lodging, and MWR facilities.
Q3: But…that information is already available on FaceBook.
A: Yup. But the information is a moving target…good information posted 4 months ago is very difficult to find, here it stays so that others can grow from each other’s experiences.
Q4: Do I have to pay?
A: Absolutely not. You can obtain an access code via the site’s FaceBook page www.facebook.com/vombuds or or via email to [email protected] … just provide some type of information so that we can verify some type of DoD affiliation (contractor, military, civilian, etc.). The site is not intended for the general public, and the public will not be granted access. Eventually, we plan to offer a classified listing service to help defray the cost of development. The development of the site took the collaboration several software engineers, a few web developers, and a few essential data entry professionals. This was done in order to design a site that would make a difference in people’s lives.
Q5: I registered…where are the listing?
A: The listings will only be revealed to you once you have subscribed – the customer coupon is the ticket to access the site. Disregard the “subscription fee”, it will change to $0.00 once you enter the code. This is how way safe-guard the site. No code, no entry.
Q6: How do I log in?
A: We’ve made it super-easy. You can login via your FaceBook, LinkedIn, Google +, Twitter, or via registering on the site as it is not required to have a social media site to access the site. You may even login below..here:

Q7: A listing I need isn’t there! What’s the deal?
A: You can shoot your listing request to us via site Private Message (send to vOmbudsman), shoot us a note via FaceBook, or feel free to post a listing yourself via the submit new listing feature on the site.
Q8: How do you do this?
A: Trade secret 🙂 We also have two highly skilled and dedicate web professionals who are dedicated to keeping the site in tip top condition. Feel free to reach out to Cristy (LouChan05) and Argen (ASpHiENx).
Q9: Can I host my FRG group site here?
A: Yes, we would love to host your FRG. Unlike FB, you will have access to a living breathing person to assist you with any requirements you have.
Q10: Does this replace FaceBook?
A: Nope…this supplements. The comments that you post can also be shared via FaceBook, so we are really focused on making sure you are happy with the site and that it meets your needs.
