Jacksonville International Airport USO

The USO Welcome Center at JIA opened on Veteran's Day, 2004. On December 7th, 2007 we held the Grand Opening of our larger home and in June, 2009 we opened an additional space, our Quiet Room. To date over 58,000 visitors have passed through our doors. Our purpose is to provide a relaxing environment to traveling military personnel and their families.

Services:

The Welcome Center has comfortable seating, a TV, DVD player, X-Box360, computers with internet access, wireless internet access, as well as a selection of complimentary snacks and beverages. There's a small library of free books, DVDs, and a supply of personal care items if needed. Our Quiet Room is a space for travelers to sleep.

Hours:

 We are only open because of our dedicated volunteers. They are the cornerstone of our operation. We strive to keep our doors open from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m., 7 days a week, 365 days a year, with at least 2 volunteers working each 4 hour shift.
