San Nicolas, officially the Municipality of San Nicolas, (Tagalog: Bayan ng San Nicolas), is a 5th class municipality in the provinceof Batangas, Philippines. According to the 2015 census, it has a population of 22,623 people.[4]
It is the smallest municipality in Batangas with 14.37 square kilometres (5.55 sq mi) [3] of land area, which includes the southern half of Taal Volcano.
