Takegawara Onsen is a hot spring in Beepu. Established in 1879 (Meiji 12), it was reported that the original building was a bamboo roofed bathhouse and was later rebuilt and tiled, so it was named Takegawara Onsen. The current building was built in 1938, and the front is a hot spring with a gorgeous roof of Karafu Fuzo, and its exterior is a symbol of Beppu Onsen. It is. The lobby with a high ceiling retains the image of the early Showa era and is a space where you can relax after bathing. The famous sand bath is a yukata, and when you lie on the sand, Mr. Sandake puts the warm sand in the hot spring.
