Develop, coordinate, and manage the USAG-HI Safety & Occupational Health program. Advise and assist the commander in sustaining his/her safety program. Monitor installation and unit compliance with OSHA policy. Conduct safety surveys/inspections of facilities to ensure compliance with all laws, regulations and policies. Educate and train Soldiers and civilian workers in risk management. Promote Personally Owned Vehicles (POV) and motorcycle safety through training and awareness programs. Provide safety oversight for port/rail/air/convoy operations. Conduct accident investigations. Provide safety oversight for all installation operations.
