According to Radiation safety guidelines, to reduce your risk of radiation exposure, guests are not usually permitted in examination rooms during procedures, however one adult family member may accompany a minor child during a procedure. In some cases, such as OB ultrasounds, a spouse or other adult may be present (this is on a case by case basis and at the discretion of the Radiology staff member performing the procedure). Please do not bring small children unless you have another adult who can watch them
