Internal Medicine CLinic

The 35th Medical Group (35 MDG) is a 23-bed inpatient Military Treatment Facility (MTF) providing primary and specialty care to approximately 7,000 beneficiaries at the 35th Fighter Wing, Misawa Air Base, Japan. We serve 2,600 Active Duty Air Force, 300 Navy, 30 Army, around 800 civilians and their dependents. Inpatient services are provided by our Multi-Service (MSU) and Maternal-Newborn/Labor and Delivery (MNU/L&D) units. Primary care services includes Family Health, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, Flight and Navy Medicine clinics. Specialty Care includes General Surgery, Orthopedics, Physical Therapy, OB-Gyn/Women’s Health, Mental Health, and Family Advocacy. Our Dental Clinic provides general, pediatric and preventive services. Medical needs exceeding MTF capability are either referred to a Japanese treatment facility or aeromedically evacuated to other MTFs where medical care is available
