 Our Mission

At Animal Hospital in Fairfield, we support a trusting and compassionate relationship between pets and their owners by practicing a progressive approach toward medicine and offering the best treatment available. Together, we work with our clients and focus on education to ensure that their four-legged companion gets everything they need to live a long, comfortable life.

CATS AND DOGS: OUR FURRY FRIENDS

Keeping our cats comfortable

At Animal Hospital in Fairfield, we want our feline patients to be as comfortable and stress-free as possible. We have a separate waiting room for our dogs and cats, with a separate hallway entrance so that you and your pet do not have to cross paths with other pets. Like our waiting rooms, we have a dedicated boarding/recovery room for your cat, so they can have peace and quiet.

We have supplied all of our exam rooms with Feliway diffusers to help support a calm environment and to neutralize the scent of other pets. Please feel free to bring in any toys, blankets, or bedding that your pet finds comforting. We are happy to place these items in your pet's kennel or allow them to have their "comfort object" with them during their exam.

We ask that all cats be brought into the hospital in a secure carrier, for their safety and security.

Dogs of all shapes and sizes

For most of our canine patients, any trip out of the house is an exciting one! Animal Hospital in Fairfield's team is here to embrace your pet. Whether your canine companion finds their time here exciting or frightening, we want to provide a pleasant experience.

Our separate dog and cat waiting rooms decrease the number of pets in one area, limiting distractions. Because our canine patients have such a keen sense of smell, they often like to explore, but we ask that you always keep your pet on a short leash, for everyone's safety. If you forgot yours at home, please ask our receptionist for one of ours.

Our dog patients have their own kennel room, away from the activity of the hospital. Please feel free to bring in any toys, blankets, or bedding that your pet finds comforting. We will gladly keep these items with your pet for the extent of their visit.

There is a large scale in the dog waiting room that we will use at every visit, and you are also welcome to drop by anytime to monitor your pet's weight.
