Chewelah Farmers Market

The Chewelah Farmers Market is non-profit, and run entirely by volunteers. The market is known for its vendor-friendly policies. Many of our vendors will tell you that this is their favorite market! We also implemented a unique Community Table, inviting the community to bring produce and goods for the volunteers of the market to sell for them.

And our monthly special event days have garnered a following all of their own. Where else can you race a zucchini down the creek or shoot cherries at a target with a slingshot?

The Chewelah Farmers Market was selected by the Washington State Farmers Market Association as the Best Small Farmers Market in the state for 2010 and 2011.

We invite you to come on down to the beautiful Chewelah City Park on Fridays, mid-May through mid-October, and enjoy all there is to offer at the Chewelah Farmers Market.

Carnation Farmers Market

Carnation Farmers Market is an independent nonprofit organization run by local volunteers. In 2023 we celebrate our 20th season by connecting local eaters with local farmers, while also serving an enriching menu of homegrown music, fun and educational activities, and other cultural & community programming. As the smallest city in King County with a farmers market, we create an inclusive and welcoming community hub where residents of Carnation and the Snoqualmie Valley can gather with local farmers, community groups, musicians, artists, friends, and neighbors.

In 2020 and 2021, volunteers re-established Carnation Farmers Market (CFM) as an independent 501(c)(3) charitable and educational nonprofit, after more than a decade of Sno-Valley Tilth leadership. Thanks to loyal shoppers and strong community support, Carnation Farmers Market has continued to thrive as a safe and reliable venue to buy food and connect with neighbors.

We, the founding Board of Directors, are shoppers, just like you, and we work hard all year long to provide this essential service. Carnation Farmers Market owes its existence to the relationships that were carefully cultivated over the years by many caring and dedicated volunteers.

To keep the Market thriving, we need shoppers like you to keep showing up every week to support our local farmers and vendors. We also depend on the ongoing support of volunteers, donors, sponsors, grant funders, and community partners to staff the Market, provide enriching programming, and cover basic operating expenses.

If you’d like to help keep the Market thriving, join Carnation Farmers Market Fan Clubvolunteer, shop every Tuesday, and spread the word. Thanks, neighbors!

Capitol Hill Farmers Market

Find us every Sunday at E Denny between Broadway & 10th Ave E, aka E Barbara Bailey Way. The market fills the gathering plaza as well as the street designated for festivals and fun (and fresh local food!). This portion of Denny Way was renamed E Barbara Bailey Way in 2019 to honor Barbara Bailey, a beloved bookseller, LGBTQ+ rights activist, and Seattle native.

After a bustling Saturday night, the Capitol Hill Farmers Market is the place to be for some Sunday nosh, fresh farm produce, and neighborhood camaraderie. There is a selection of tasty ready-to-eat food options (containing local farm ingredients), as well as all kinds of fresh goodness from several dozen of our region’s hard-working family farms. It’s the perfect way to stock up for the week, taste the flavors of the season, and get to know your local growers and food artisans. And of course, plenty of colorful and enticing Instagram photo ops! Visit us from 11 am -3 pm every Sunday, year-round.
