Virtual Race
The Virtual All American Marathon and Virtual Mike to Mike Half Marathon is available for anyone who would like to be a part of the race but not able to participate race weekend.Participants are welcome to run the Virtual All American Full Marathon or the Virtual Mike to Mike Half Marathon anytime and anywhere that is convenient but must finished by date TBD.  These virtual marathons are non-competitive with no age group or overall awards.

  • Once registered, runners will receive a confirmation e-mail containing a link to the virtual bib.  Virtual participants may print and wear the bib or keep as a token of your efforts.
  • Post pictures with your shirt and medal after completion of your run on social media using #RunAllAmerican and be sure to tag us!

Please note: This event is not the same as the Shadow Run.

Ultimate Warrior Medal
The Ultimate warrior Medal (UWM) is an achievement medal for those who participate in 3 United States Military organized races. Limited quantity is available.

Passport to America’s Hometown

The Passport to America’s Hometown is a pocket guide to 12 attractions for visitors/locals to visit in Cumberland County. When you complete a visit at one of the 12 attractions, your passport is stamped by that location. Every stamp is different and unique to each attraction. Passports can be obtained at our three Visitor Center locations, as well as each of the 11 featured attractions.

Access To Fort Bragg
All registered athletes wearing a race bib on course will be granted access to Fort Bragg during their marathon and half marathon races.

If you’re not a DOD ID cardholder and wish to enter Fort Bragg before race day, you must go through the AIE pass process.

  • Personnel without valid Department of Defense issued identification requesting access to the Fort Bragg Military Reservation to participate in or view the All American Marathon are highly encouraged to apply in advance for an Automated Installation Entry (AIE) pass for the day of the marathon. AIE passes can be obtained at the All American Welcome Center which is open 24/7 and is located at the All American Freeway Access Control Point (ACP).

Special Event Access On Race Day

On the day of the marathon, those who have not applied for, or received an AIE pass will be directed to the All American ACP, the Randolph ACP (Randolph St. and Bragg Blvd.), the Chicken Rd ACP, and/or the Longstreet Rd ACP. Vehicle and contents may be subject to search. It is highly recommended that plenty of time be allowed as traffic may become congested.

Make sure to:

  • Carry your valid government photo ID such as a drivers license
  • Have the current registration for any vehicle entering Fort Bragg
  • Be prepared for a vehicle inspection before post access is granted at the ACP

General Information
The full and half marathons start in downtown Fayetteville and end on Fort Bragg.

Parking

Ample parking is available in downtown Fayetteville, and on Fort Bragg.

Shuttle Service

The following shuttle service options are available:

  • Pre-race shuttle
    A pre-race shuttle will be available for any runners who wish to park on Fort Bragg and ride to the start line.
  • Post-race shuttle
    Ample parking is available in downtown Fayetteville, near the start line and free post-race shuttles will be offered back to the start area for runners after the race.
  • Host-hotel shuttle
Hydration & Nutrition
Runner hydration is a top priority on race day.

The All American Marathon has 23 water stations along the route. There will be water stations every 1.5 miles for the first 9 miles of the marathon and half marathon courses. From mile marker 10 and after, we will provide a water station at every mile till the finish.

In addition to hydration, there are 4 food stops along the marathon route and 1 food stops along the half marathon route. There will also be an aid station located with every other water station on the racecourse.

Volunteers

We have many volunteer opportunities! We are looking for large groups, as well as individuals. Below are just a few of the jobs available.

  • Water station attendants – Mix electrolyte product, distribute water, and cheer on runners.
  • Course marshals – Motivate runners, steer them in the right direction, and maintain the flow of all three races.
  • Post-race festival – Jobs include food tent attendant, volunteer check-in, information tent attendant, trash detail, and our ‘Jack of all Trades’ floater.
  • Gear check attendants – Collect, organize, and distribute bags of gear runners want access to when they finish their race.

Pre-race:

  • How do I register?
    All registrations will be completed online. See “Register” above for more information.
  • Where can I find a course map?
    When available, course maps are located under the section that corresponds to each race. For example, the course map for the Mike to Mike Half Marathon, can be found under the “Mike to Mike Half Marathon” accordion above.
  • Where do I pick up my packet?
    Click on the “Expo & Packet Pick-up” accordion above for location/date/time.
  • Can you mail me my race packet?
    No, we do not mail race packets. Click on the “Expo & Packet Pick-up” accordion above for details on when/where you can pick up your packet.
  • Can I have someone else pick up my packet for me?
    Yes, they must bring a copy of your valid Government-issued ID to pick up your packet in your name.  If you registered with a military discount please ensure that whoever is picking up for you has a copy of your DoD ID Card.
  • Will there be a gear check?
    Yes. Gear check will be located at Segra Stadium. Gear will only be accepted if it is in the clear plastic drawstring bag you receive at packet pick-up. No uncontained liquids or weapons may be checked-in bags. Gear will be available at approximately 9:30 a.m. at the finish line for the half and full marathon.
  • What is the refund policy?
    There are no refunds
  • What is the course time limit?
    Marathon is 7 hours and a half marathon is 4 hours
  • Will there be a baggage check?
    Yes
  • Are strollers and baby joggers allowed for the marathon and half marathon?
    No, they are not allowed for the marathon and half marathon. This is a safety issue and no exceptions will be made.
  • Are strollers allowed during the 5k?
    Yes, strollers are allowed for the 5k only. We ask that all participants pushing a stroller line up to the back of the start to allow faster runners to safely enter the race course.
  • Are pets allowed?
    No, pets are not allowed for any of the races.
  • Are pace groups available?
    Pace groups are available for the half and full marathon’s only.
  • I want to volunteer what do I need to do?
    Visit the “Volunteers” accordion above for information.
  • Is there an age requirement?
    Participants must be at least 14 for the Mike to Mike Half Marathon and 16 for the All American Marathon.
  • Is this a USATF Event?
    Yes we are USATF sanctioned.

    Yes, our course has been certified, which makes the All American Marathon an official Boston Qualifier

10 Miler Fort Bragg

The Fort Bragg Annual 10-Miler has gone virtual!  Lace up your running shoes and join us for the 2020 Fort Bragg Virtual 10-Miler on Saturday, November 7.  Space is limited so sign up today.

Registration is now open to everyone!

  •  $25 registration fee includes a finisher medal and shirt
  • Register before November 1 to have your medal and shirt will be mailed out before the race date
  • Registrations between November 1-6, 2020, will have the medal and shirt mailed out after the race date.
  • All finisher shirts (100% Polyster unisex style shirts) and medals will be mailed.  There will be no in person pick up available.
  • Registration will close on November 7, 2020 or when registration reaches capacity.

Cleland Ice & Inline Skating Rinks

This facility offers year-round skating, not only as a form of exercise but as an affordable and constructive family leisure activity. It is the only ice rink within a 60-mile radius that provides year-round ice skating. This facility has a comprehensive ice skating program, to include open skating, group and private lessons, figure skating clubs, parties (schools, units, and special interest groups), and private ice rental. This facility is easily accessible for both military and civilian patrons, as we are open to the public.

Broomball and Sled Hockey are conducted during the following days/hours:

General Information

  • Families may bring food and decorations as long as it does not alter the surface of the room/walls/ice.
  • All birthday parties must be scheduled during public skate sessions.
  • Families may arrive 30 minutes early for set up. We ask that the room be left in the same condition found to avoid additional fees.

Single room

Inline Skating Rink
Hours of Operation:

  • Fall/Winter: (October – March): Monday – Sunday, 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.

The primary focus of the inline skating rink operation is to offer a safe and fun environment for recreational, unsupervised inline skating, during posted hours of operation.

The inline skating rink is open to the public.

  • Helmets are required when on skates.
  • Use of the inline skating facility is at your own risk, skating sessions are unsupervised.
  • The facility may be closed at the discretion of management for adverse weather conditions.

Do you have an Inline Skating Rink?

Our state of the art outdoor inline skating rink is open year-round for the skater enthusiast to practice their skills. Helmets, knee and elbow pads are mandatory. Only inline skate users are allowed in the rink.

Does the ice rink offer lessons for kids who want to learn how to skate?

The ice rink offers both, group and private lessons for ages 4 years and above. Our Learn-To-Skate program is offered 1 night a week and lasts for 6 weeks. Private lessons are scheduled on an individual basis for children and adults.

Do you have lockers?

Yes. We rent lockers for $1.

Does the facility offer a full Youth Ice Hockey program?

Cape Fear Youth Hockey is the current hockey program here. Email [email protected] if interested.

Do you offer areas for birthday parties, unit functions, and other social events?

Areas in the rinks can be reserved for group functions. We offer birthday parties and unit function packages. Reservations are encouraged due to high demand.

Does the facility offer an Outdoor Skateboard Park?

Yes. The state of the art concrete skateboard park is now open! Helmets, knee and elbow pads are mandatory. Bikes are not allowed in the skateboard park.

Do you offer skate rentals?

We offer rental skates (hockey and figure skates) during the scheduled Public Skate sessions at the ice skating rink.

What form of payment does Cleland Ice Rink accept?

We accept Visa, MasterCard, Cash, or Check.

What size rental skates do you have?

We carry youth size 7 through adult size 13.

I’m planning a birthday party at Cleland Ice Rink, am I allowed to bring in outside food?

Yes. We encourage it as we do not have a snack bar.

How cold is it in your facility?

We are an indoor ice rink, and our lobby and bleacher area are about 55 degrees. Expect the temperature to be around 45 degrees on the ice surface.

What attire should be worn?

We recommend long pants, gloves, and a jacket. Some skaters also prefer to wear scarves, hats, etc.

Do you have lockers?

No. You may leave shoes under the benches. Cleland Ice & Inline Rinks is not responsible for lost or stolen items. Please leave valuables in your locked vehicle.

Does the rink close if there is bad weather?

Yes, the rink will close only when Fort Bragg closes in the event of extreme weather conditions.

Do you sharpen skates?

Yes, we have a Blademaster sharpening machine. We do not sharpen skates on demand, please expect to leave them overnight.

Am I allowed to wear shoes on the ice?

No! Only skates are permitted on the ice – no pushing strollers, wheelchairs, or carrying children while skating.

Can I bring/wear my own skates?

Yes. However, admission prices will remain the same.

Are alcoholic beverages permitted?

No. Alcoholic beverages are strictly prohibited.

Is the ice rink available for private rental?

Absolutely! Times will vary, but rental spaces are available all year long.
