Welcome to Ben Eielson Junior-Senior High School, located on Eielson Air Force Base near Fairbanks, Alaska. Our school opened in 1958 and was named after the famous aviator, Carl Ben Eielson. In 1979, we became the only combined junior/senior high school in the Fairbanks North Star Borough School District.

We have always been a small school: our enrollment in recent years has been between 300-400 students. It is through our spirit, pride, and hard work that we have been able to successfully compete against our larger neighboring schools in the areas of academics and sports. We try to live up to our school motto: "Small, Mighty and Proud."v
