Auto Skills Center-Cannon AFB

The Auto Skills Center at Cannon is the auto mechanic's dream, with ten bays, six lifts, and an abundance of tools.

The Skills Development Program is directed toward authorized users' recreation, vocational and occasional needs to provide sufficient knowledge to pursue constructive and creative hobbies and increase competence in crafts and industrial arts.

Instruction should stimulate new interest and provide customers with sufficient basic skills and knowledge to participate with minimum supervision and work safely in a hobby. The program is generally designed to be self-supporting from appropriated and non-appropriated funds.
