The dream was founded in 2004 in San Diego, California by Joely who owns and operates the business. Starting in a one-bedroom beachfront bungalow, the web-based business was the number one small business retailer of Barefoot Dreams and Little Giraffe products for many years prior to both brands changing their structure and selling publically.

Moving the business back to her home state of southern Arizona was a perfect fit for Dream. The website was matched with a brick-and-mortar storefront in 2008, which had always been Joely's dream.  Dream Gift Shop has been located at 250 s Madison Avenue for 7 years and has left a permanent footprint in the historic downtown Yuma gas lamp district.  Deep in her agricultural roots and combining her interior design education, Joely enveloped a style of unique on-trend items that compliment each other and create the eclectic, one-stop shopping destination for any gift occasion.

Finally, here in 2017, the website and storefront have merged as one. The new website that you are on is constantly being updated and new items are being added daily.  This website and point-of-sale system keep our inventory tracked in real-time, which is going to be fantastic during the business holiday season!
