Eglin AFB - Fam Camp

Camping doesn't have to be rough! Eglin's Family Campgrounds (FAMCAMP) offer great outdoor accommodations in two locations, Camp Robbins and Postl Point.

The park at Camp Robbins is located on Shambo Cove Road off Memorial Trail. The camp offers 60 sites with water, sewer, and electric (50 amp, 30 amp, 110v). A total of 45 sites are pull-through and 15 are back-in. RV sites are gravel with a concrete square adjacent to each site, plus a picnic table. The park has a bath house and laundry room with 4 washers and 4 dryers. An asphalt road leads in and out of the park with a gravel drive at each site. Camp Robbins also has 14 tent sites with water hook-up only.

The park at Postl Point is located adjacent to the Outdoor Recreation Center off Flagler Road. The camp has 22 sites with water, cable TV, and electric (50 amp, 30 amp, 110v). All sites are pull-through with an asphalt road in and out of the park. Each site has grass parking and a picnic table. Restrooms and a laundry room are also on-site, with 2 washers and 2 dryer.

The FAMCAMP office, located at Camp Robbins, is open Thursday-Tuesday (closed Wednesday) from 10:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Reservations are allowed 90 days in advance, but are limited. Each reservation site is limited to a 14 day stay. The remainder of our sites are "first come, first served." Customers are NOT allowed to occupy a reservation site without making a reservation with our staff. Reservation sites are clearly marked with yellow signs and red barricades. For "first come, first served" sites, customers must have their rig on site and register with the office prior to hook-up — NO EXCEPTIONS! Each camp site is limited to one (1) RV and two (2) vehicles.

RV spaces rent for $29 per day, $175 per 7 days, $350 per 14 days, and $550 per 30 days. Tent sites are $10 per day. Spaces are available to all personnel authorized to use Outdoor Recreation facilities — active duty, retired military, and DoD civilians. Guests can be sponsored on base and stay in the campground but the sponsor must be present with their guests at all times. The maximum length of stay for sponsored guests is restricted to 14 days, and all sponsored guests must be reported to the FAMCAMP staff.

Maximum length of stay for customers is limited to 180 days. Upon reaching the 180 day mark, guests are required to vacate the campground for 30 days before seeking another stay with us. Check-out time is 12 p.m. on the day of departure. Late checkouts will incur a one day charge per day. Guests requiring a late check-out must submit a request no later than 12 p.m. on the day prior to their departure date.
