RENTAL PARTNERSHIP PROGRAM (RPP)

The Rental Partnership Program (RPP) establishes a relationship between the Navy and local private property owners and is designed to help military families find affordable, secure, quality off-base rental property at their new duty stations. RPP also provides property owners with stable, pre-qualified renters.

APPLYING FOR HOUSING

You can apply for Public/Private Venture (PPV) Family Housing prior to departure from your current command. Navy Housing has developed Housing Early Application Tool (HEAT) to assist service members and their families in applying for housing Navywide. HEAT allows you to start the housing application process at one or more installations online before or after you receive Permanent Change of Station (PCS) orders.

The Basic Allowance for Housing (BAH) is a U.S. based allowance prescribed by geographic duty location, pay grade, and dependency status. It provides uniformed Service members equitable housing compensation based on housing costs in local civilian housing markets within the United States.
