Hillcrest Park Zoo Clovis

Hillcrest Park Zoo is a zoological park and is the 2nd Largest Zoo in New Mexico. We have been in operation since the 1930s, and in this particular location since the 1950s. Our park is located within Hillcrest Park, with more than 140 acres of parkland, lots of playground equipment for children to enjoy, a seasonal Splash Park, a Sunken Garden for weddings, and plenty of picnic areas available.

Our park provides a wholesome, educational, and unique experience for both children and adults – making it perfect for a family outing! We are proud to be a favorite New Mexico attraction and offer visitors the chance to see many different wild animals including a Bengal tiger, giraffes, reptiles, primates, and more.

Admission

Age 2 and under-Free Age 3 to 11-$2.00 Age 12 and up -$4.00 Seniors (60+)-$3.00 Military with ID receive a $0.50 discount off the ticket price. A group rate of $1.00 per person with a reservation (applies to recognized educational, church, and scout groups.)

Parking is FREE for everyone!

Hours

Tuesday through Sunday 9:00 am – 4:00 pm. The Zoo is closed Mondays and the most City of Clovis observed holidays. The Zoo grounds are cleared by 5:00 pm.

Gift Shop

Gift Shop Our gift shop is located at the ground’s main entrance and features unique mementos, one-of-a-kind souvenirs, and a 4-pattern penny smasher to help visitors commemorate their trip to the park. Accessibility Our grounds are 100% stair-free and we offer handicapped-accessible restrooms. We have wheelchairs available for guests free of charge and also offer Radio Flyer 2-seat wagons for rent at $5.00/each.
