Other

The Ellsworth Area Defense Counsel Program is one of the great strengths of the Air Force military justice system. The Area Defense Counsel program is set up so the ADC has no direct command pressure from local commanders. The ADC office is a tenant organization with its command structure in Washington DC and at Travis AFB, California. The ADC does not fall within any local chain of command; we are always free to act independently and in the best interests of our clients when they need advice or are facing a disciplinary or adverse action.

If you find yourself in a position requiring the services of the ADC, remember that you will be in an attorney-client relationship. The ADC and the Defense Paralegal must hold the information discussed with you in confidence. We cannot tell anyone what you have told us unless you give us permission.

Types of Services

Services offered by the Ellsworth ADC office are:

  1. UCMJ proceedings
  2. Adverse Administrative Actions
  3. Accident Investigations
  4. Flying Evaluation Boards
  5. Letters of Reprimand
  6. Line of Duty Investigations
  7. Medical Officer De-credentialing
  8. OPR/EPR Referral Responses
  9. Promotion Propriety Actions
  10. Selective Reenlistment Program
  11. Reports of Survey

The Area Defense Counsel can be reached by calling: 605-385-2158 or DSN: 312-675-2158.
