A loan closet is a program that allows service members, families, and loved ones to borrow durable equipment or resources especially as they are awaiting their household goods.  This program varies by service so check out the below information to see what is offered at this installation.

The Loan Closet is a loan service of basic household items designed to assist active duty, reserve service members, and retired service members until the arrival of their own household items or for departing personnel after the shipment of household items prior to their departure.

Some of the items available include.

• Can opener
• Crock-Pot
• Casserole dish
• Cereal bowl
• Coffee maker
• Coffee cup
• Steel fry pan
• Futon
• Glasses
• Paring knife
• Plate
• Saucepan
• Pyrex rectangle, round and square baking dishes
• Serving spoon
• Spatula
• Toaster
• Tongs
• Whisk

How to Borrow

Items are loaned out for 30 days, with extensions granted as needed. You will need a copy of your orders and a valid military identification card. A list of items available can be picked up at the Directorate of Personnel and Family Readiness in Waller Hall, Building 2140, Room 201. For questions, please call 253-967-3635.

9 :00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Closed all holidays and days of no scheduled activities.
