Loan Closet- NSA Bethesda

A loan closet is a program that allows service members, families, and loved ones to borrow durable equipment or resources especially as they are awaiting their household good.  This program varies by service so check out the below information to see what is offered at this installation.

Loan Closet/Lending Locker

Basic household goods items are available to borrow while waiting for your personal property pre-departure or upon arrival. Typical items in stock include pots and pans, dishes, silverware, irons, and ironing boards. Towels and bed linens are not available, so please be sure to pack these items in your hold baggage.

The Loan Closet is not available on Naval Support Activity Bethesda. Please call the Military and Family Support Center at 301-319-4087 for a referral for the closest base with Loan Closet service.

How To Borrow

Fleet and Family Support Center at Naval Support Activity Bethesda has suspended the operation of the Loan Locker. Other options are available for household items to relocating personnel on PCS orders while waiting for their household goods to arrive. Service members must have the following to borrow items:

• PCS orders
• Military ID
