Nasipit, officially the Municipality of Nasipit, (Cebuano: Lungsod sa Nasipit; Tagalog: Bayan ng Nasipit), is a 3rd class municipality in the province of Agusan del Norte, Philippines. According to the 2015 census, it has a population of 41,957 people.[3]
The Port of Nasipit is the major seaport or base port in Agusan del Norte. The Philippine Ports Authority (PPA)assigned PMO Nasipit as an International Base port.
