Air Terminal-NASNI Coronado

NAS North Island Space-A Air Terminal offers Space Available flights to Active Duty, Reservists, Retirees, DOD employees, and Dependents.

We would like to remind all Space Available that check-in time is 2 hours prior to departure. Passengers are limited to 40 lbs. checked-in bag and 10 lbs. carry-on for C-9s, C-40s, and C-130s and 20 lbs. checked-in bag and 10 lbs. carry-on for C-20s and smaller aircraft.

To place your name in the Space Available register, you may come into Bldg. 700, email your information to [email protected] or Fax your information to (619)545-9532.

Registration requires last name, last four of your Social, rank/rate, unit assigned, and destination, and if you are active duty, reservist, or retiree.

Registration requirements for Space 'A' Flights out of NAS North Island:

• First and Last Name
• Rank/Rate Category
• Destination

Travel Categories and Priorities:

• Category I - emergency travel, DoD status overseas, American Red Cross, family members of sponsor/dependents stationed overseas
• Category II - ML, DoDDS teachers and family members
• Category III - Ordinary or reenlistment leave status, active duty family members, TDY house hunting, foreign exchange service members in a leave status
• Category IV - Family members on EML orders, DoD civilian employees stationed overseas, DODDS teachers and family members on EML during summer break
• Category V - Reservists and members, retired military members, family members with ID card
