Overview:

The Liberty Center provides high energy quality of life programs to the 18-25 year old single sailor and unaccompanied sailor population living at SUBASE. The program offers superior entertainment experiences and development of personal leisure skills. Leading to extraordinary and unique opportunities for the sailor to enjoy the activity or adventure in an alcohol and tobacco free environment.

The center includes free computer and wifi access, the very best and most up to date equipment for video gaming.

A separate movie theater with stadium seating is onsite as well as a brand new addition of a sound proof music room.

Activities include:

  • Tournaments and games (Xbox, Xbox One, PS3, and PS4)
  • Multiple large screen TV's
  • Computer room
  • Off base trips (NYC, Boston, fishing, movies, amusements parks etc.)
  • Regular weekend shuttles to local mall and surrounding shopping area
  • Pool tables, ping pong, darts, and foosball
  • Weekly Jam sessions
  • Reading area
  • Grab and go food items for sale
  • Food truck located outside with full deli menu (pizzas, grinders etc.)

Most events at the Liberty Center are free of charge. A nominal fee is charged for some activities and trips off base.
