SeaWorld San Diego is an animal theme park, oceanarium, outside aquarium, and marine mammal park, in San Diego, California, United States, inside Mission Bay Park. It is owned and operated by SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment.

SeaWorld San Diego is a member of the Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA). Adjacent to the property is the Hubbs-SeaWorld Research Institute, which conducts research on marine biology and provides education and outreach on marine issues to the general public, including information in park exhibits.

Inflatable World is a giant outdoor playground next to the mall that offers massive slides, obstacle courses & bounce domes. Kids will surely love the place as they can let loose, run, play, and make new friends. They are open for rentals for parties and events.

Koala crossing signs lead you across the road to the Queenslander House, with wide decks overlooking a forest for the Zoo’s koala colony—the largest outside of Australia. You’ll be at eye level with the koalas as they sun, nap, and eat while perched in the trees. Keep an eye out for baby koala joeys in the pouch or on mom’s back, too!

The San Diego Zoo is a zoo in Balboa Park, San Diego, California, housing 4000 animals of more than 650 species and subspecies on 100 acres (40 ha) of Balboa Park leased from the City of San Diego. Its parent organization, San Diego Zoo Wildlife Alliance, is a private nonprofit conservation organization and has one of the largest zoological membership associations in the world, with more than 250,000 member households and 130,000 child memberships, representing more than half a million people.

The San Diego Zoo was a pioneer in the concept of open-air, cageless exhibits that recreate natural animal habitats. For decades, the zoo housed and successfully bred giant pandas with the largest giant panda population outside China, before the pandas were repatriated to China in 2019.
