The Proctor Farmers’ Market strives to be a welcoming, inclusive and safe space for all people to enjoy.  We celebrate and respect the diversity, ideas, and cultures of our customers, vendors, staff, and visitors including people of all races, ethnicities, national origins, immigration statuses, ages, range of abilities, sexes, sexual orientations, gender identities, religious beliefs, financial means, education, and political perspectives.

The Proctor Farmers' Market works to provide the community with fresh, locally grown farm products while providing area growers with a venue for their crops and products. In addition, we seek to educate the public about the importance of local agriculture, sustainable business, and the impact we have on the environment. Bringing people together at the Farmers Market helps promote a greater sense of community, serves as an educational forum, and helps encourage local business development.   The Proctor Farmers' Market’s Mission is:

  1. To support and encourage local farmers by providing a venue in our urban community for the direct marketing of fresh produce and farm-grown products
  2. To be an educational resource to the public highlighting the importance of local agriculture, sustainable business, and our impact on the environment.
  3. To encourage community building and collaboration within the business and neighborhood community that the market serves.
