Many times individuals, couples, and families find themselves struggling with relationship problems, parent-child issues, problems with school, issues related to your marriage or divorce, retirement, relocation, employment problems, and just plain stress. The Fleet and Family Support Center, our offers professional clinical assessment and counselling services and include individual, marital, group, and family counselling services. All clinical staff are licensed, credentialed professionals and have undergone background checks and are able to work with adults, adolescents, and children. Services offered are short-term and solution focused. Through counselling, you can learn to identify, understand and change problematic behaviours and attitudes, improve communications skills, develop a greater sense of awareness, grow as an individual, and improve your relationships.

CONFIDENTIALITY: Information discussed in a counselling session is treated with the utmost sensitivity. MOST of what is said remains confidential unless child abuse is suspected. The counsellor is required by law to contact CPS and the FAP. Victims of Domestic Violence may have a Restricted Reporting options. All other instances of Domestic Violence must be reported to FAP. If there is evidence that a person is showing signs of suicide or homicide, the counsellor must take action to prevent the person from harming themselves and/or others. Any illegal activities such as drug use must be reported to the Command.
