Substance Abuse Counseling Center provides a variety of evidence-based and individualized services, including education, care coordination, group therapy, individual and family support.

Effective counseling addresses the whole person and includes cognitive-behavioral therapies, family support, and coordination of care with medical personnel.

You and your counselor will address a wide variety of topics: relationships, stress management, emotional regulation, thinking patterns, as well as issues directly related to substance use.

Our Outpatient Program (OP) is designed for individuals who have a substance use disorder of mild severity. Our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) is designed for individuals who have a substance use disorder of moderate severity.

After you complete OP or IOP, you will work with your counselor to create your long-term aftercare plan.

We welcome walk-ins, self-referrals, command referrals, medical referrals, and behavioral health referrals.

To schedule an initial appointment, please call  (760) 725-5538 or  (760) 725-5539.

All services begin with a meeting between you and one of our expert counselors. During this initial meeting, you and your counselor will discuss your unique history, strengths, needs, and challenges. From there, you and your counselor will agree to a plan that addresses your specific needs.

Higher Levels of Care

If you have developed a severe substance use disorder or have co-occurring mental health needs, SACC can facilitate placement in a more intensive outpatient or residential program. Your counselor will work with you and your command to coordinate an individualized transition plan.

Prevention Services

The SACC Prevention and Early Intervention program use evidence-based prevention strategies. Our prevention program focuses on preventing the onset and development of more significant substance-related problems.
