Tabogon is a 3rd municipal income class municipality in the province of Cebu, Philippines. According to the 2015 census, it has a population of 39,013.[3] In the 2016 electoral roll, it had 24,746 registered voters.[4]
Tabogon comes from the archaic Visayan word, tabog, which means "busy", in reference to the bustling and busy farm fields that dotted this place during the olden times, hence, tabogon, means a busy workplace or any place that is busy with work.
