The mission of Air Force Child and Youth Programs (CYP) is to assist DoD military and civilian personnel in balancing the competing demands of the accomplishment of the DoD mission and family life through the delivery of a system of quality, available and affordable programs and services for eligible children and youth birth through 18 years of age.

The Youth Center offers before and after school and interim care for children from kindergarten to 12 years of age, including organized activities, breakfast, lunch, and a snack. Instructional classes in martial arts, dance, tap and ballet, piano, arts and crafts, drama, guitar, violin, and sewing are also available. There are field trips for athletic events, theatrical performances, amusement parks, and outdoor recreational activities.  The older youth have a separate hangout place at the Teen Zone, located in the BX Mini-Mall. Teens can stop by to finish homework, socialize, or be part of organized activities. Phone: 707-424-3131.
