Passenger Terminal (Travis AFB)

The Passenger Terminal at Travis AFB handles Space A.

During the hours of 2200-0400, the Passenger Service Center will be closed. Passengers will be able to sign up for Space-A travel (fax, email, etc.) during these hours; flight information is available through social media and the pre-recorded telephone services. Standby personnel would be available in the case of any Out-bound flights with passengers. And Inbound passenger support will continue during 2200-0400.

Baggage Allowance: Passengers are authorized to check two pieces of baggage not to exceed 70 pounds each (140 pounds total) and 62 linear inches (length + width + height). Items exceeding these limitations shall be counted as two pieces and will fulfill the allowance for a passenger.

Differently Abled Passengers: Please be aware that due to safety considerations, the maximum allowable weight for mobility assist equipment such as wheelchairs, powered wheelchairs, walkers, crutches, etc. is 100 pounds. Mobility assist equipment exceeding 100 pounds will not be accepted for transportation. Passengers traveling with a motorized wheelchair must provide assistance and guidance if the wheelchair's battery must be disconnected.

When civilian attire is worn for travel, it shall be in good taste and not in conflict with accepted attire in the overseas country of departure, transit, or destination. Clothing should not be torn, dirty, tattered, revealing, suggestive clothing, etc. Also, passenger footwear must not be of the type that could hinder emergency egress or increase chances of injury. The wear of open toe or open heeled shoes (five-toe-shoes, sandals, flip-flops, crocs, high-heels, etc.) is prohibited on aircraft.

Passengers are reminded that it is their responsibility to contact destination terminals for billeting, transportation, etc. AMC Grams and Phone Listings are provided at the Passenger Service Center to contact destination terminals.

Pregnant women up to the 34th week of gestation may be accepted for air transportation unless medically inadvisable. Women who are 6 weeks, or more post-partum and infants at least 6 weeks old may be accepted for air transportation unless medically inadvisable. Infants under 6 weeks old and women who are less than 6 weeks post-partum may be accepted only if considered medically sound and so certified in writing by a responsible medical officer or civilian physician.

There is no guaranteed space for any traveler. The Department of Defense is not obligated to continue an individual's travel or return him or her to point of origin, or any other point. Travelers shall have sufficient personal funds to pay for commercial transportation to return to their residence or duty station if space-available transportation is not available.
