The Vandenberg Air Force Base Child Development Center (CDC) offers care for children between the ages of 6 weeks - 5 years old (start of kindergarten).

The CDC is Department of Defense certified and accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children. As a quality early childhood program, the curriculum offered has the goal of building a basic positive foundation for education in the areas of math, science, literacy, and the arts while encouraging age-appropriate social and emotional development.
