Vision

Vision at the 60th Medical Group - Travis Air Force Base consists of Laser Refractive Center, Optometry, Ophthalmology, and Warfighter Refractive Surgery Center. For more information, please visit the individual health services.

Laser Refractive Center

All active duty, Reserve, and National Guard on active duty orders are eligible. Initial appointments and follow-up appointments are scheduled by Laser Center staff. We offer corneal refractive surgery, including laser-assisted in situ keratomileusis and photorefractive keratectomy, or LASIK and PRK. Refractive applications are available for download on Travis Warfighter Refractive Center Facebook, under Groups Tab, or on the Kx website. This is a common access card, or CAC, required website. Users without a CAC will receive an error message. Applications can take up to three weeks to process. We do not have a waitlist.

Optometry

David Grant Medical Center's Optometry Clinic is comprised of dedicated and compassionate professionals who specialize in providing high-quality, primary eye care and urgent need services supporting wartime readiness and sustaining combat capability in support of the aerospace medicine mission. Open to active duty personnel and others as availability allows.

Ophthalmology

David Grant Medical Center's Ophthalmology Clinic and Laser Refractive Surgery Center utilize evidence-based practice - research-proven interventions to monitor, treat and cure a wide range of eye problems ranging from macular degeneration and glaucoma to dry eyes and cataracts. Patients must be referred by their primary care manager to these clinics.
