General Surgery - The primary goal of this exercise was to focus on a small team concept, working together in the surgical suite performing a general surgery case. General surgery is a surgical speciality that focuses on abdominal contents including the oesophagus, stomach, small intestine, large intestine, liver, pancreas, gallbladder, appendix and bile ducts, and often the thyroid gland (depending on local referral patterns).
