The Fort Eustis Middle School and Teen Programs were designed with your ever-growing children and teenagers in mind. Our age-appropriate programs are geared to allow your son or daughter to grow as an adult, teaching them resourceful life skills they can use along the way. On top of that, the Middle School and Teen Center is a great place to hang out with friends. Our facility is fully equipped with a gym, computer lab, teen room, art room, snack area, game room, dance studio, and homework lab.
TORCH CLUB
Every other Thursday 4:00-5:00 pm (Middle School)
These age-based ( 11-13 years old) leadership groups are where your voice, your plan, and your ideas are brought to reality. Opportunities include Community Service, Youth Leadership, Character Development, and Citizenship.
KEYSTONE CLUB
Every other Monday 3:00-3:30 pm (High School)
This unique leadership development experience provides opportunities for young people ages 14 to 18. Youth participate, both in and out of the Club, in activities in three focus areas: academic success, career preparation, and community service. With the guidance of an adult advisor, Keystone Clubs aim to have a positive impact on members, the Club, and the community.
4-H COOKING CLUB
A club based on a 4-H curriculum in which Youth and Teens will learn all aspects of cooking. They will gain skills such as converting measurements, planning, and proper use of cooking utensils
4-H HEALTH ROCKS
A 10-week course that discusses drug abuse and how to avoid and deal with pressure from others. The first 5 weeks will consist of the forum, while the last 5 weeks will be used to create a video public service announcement about the discussed topics.
FIT CLUB
Fit Club is a program in which Youth and Teens are introduced to many different types of physical activities to keep fit and spark interest in healthy choices and habits.
POWER HOUR
Power Hour is a time for youth and teens to take advantage of a quiet space to do homework, and receive help and tutoring from staff. Youth and Teens will receive points for attending, which can be used to buy prizes including electronics, supplies, etc.
MONEY MATTERS
This financial literacy program uses interactive activities to teach teens about budgeting, saving, investing, planning for college, entrepreneurship, and avoiding debt
