A Torch Club is a powerful vehicle through which Youth Programs staff can help meet the special character development needs of younger adolescents at a critical stage in their life. Torch Club members learn to elect officers and work together to implement activities in four areas: service to the Youth Center & community; education; health and fitness; and social recreation. A Torch Club Member is a person of character, someone to look up to and admire. A person, who knows the difference between right and wrong, always tries to do what is right, sets a good example, and makes the world a better place. The Torch Club as Scott AFB Youth Programs, known as Quest, meets every Thursday at 4 p.m. We are looking for new members committed to making a difference in their Youth Center and community. New officers will be elected this new school year.
