Roy Walker Recreation Center consists of two full-sized gymnasiums with volleyball options, a fully equipped weight room, a multi-purpose room, and a boxing gym.

City of Clovis coed youth basketball league registration is now open. We are accepting participants ages 5 through 12. Your child must be at least five years of age by the start of registration on August 22, 2022; and not turning thirteen years out by the end of registration on September 23, 2022. The participation fee will be $30 per participant. The league will be a total of eight weeks which consist of six weeks of games, and one week of make-up games, and the last week will be a single-game elimination tournament. There will be limited availability so make sure you get your applications in as soon as possible. In the event that spots fill up, your child will be placed on a waiting list. If we are able to accommodate your child they will be placed on a team.

Bring your family out for a FUN Adventure! Clovis Fun Center promotes activities for all ages! Stop by for Go-Karts, Miniature Golf, Bumper Boats, Batting Cages, and Paintball! We offer a great family-oriented environment with lots of fun.

We have group rates for corporate events, company picnics, church groups, scout troops, family gatherings, or birthdays. Nothing is more fun than friendly competition on the go-kart track or miniature golf course!

Zonkers

Zonkers is an indoor arcade serving families with children of all ages.  Our arcade provides a diverse mix of over 100 arcade games, VR, and toddler ride built to scale for indoor use. Currently, Zonkers is operating inside Red Arrow Entertainment Center in Clovis NM.  Earn tickets and redeem them for fun prizes.

Hillcrest Park Zoo is a zoological park and is the 2nd Largest Zoo in New Mexico. We have been in operation since the 1930s, and in this particular location since the 1950s. Our park is located within Hillcrest Park, with more than 140 acres of parkland, lots of playground equipment for children to enjoy, a seasonal Splash Park, a Sunken Garden for weddings, and plenty of picnic areas available.

Our park provides a wholesome, educational, and unique experience for both children and adults – making it perfect for a family outing! We are proud to be a favorite New Mexico attraction and offer visitors the chance to see many different wild animals including a Bengal tiger, giraffes, reptiles, primates, and more.

The Zoo is closed Mondays and the most City of Clovis observed holidays.
The Zoo grounds are cleared by 5:00 pm.

Gift Shop Our gift shop is located at the ground’s main entrance and features unique mementos, one-of-a-kind souvenirs, and a 4-pattern penny smasher to help visitors commemorate their trip to the park. Accessibility Our grounds are 100% stair-free and we offer handicapped-accessible restrooms. We have wheelchairs available for guests free of charge and also offer Radio Flyer 2-seat wagons for rent at $5.00/each.
