Special warfare boat operator (abbreviated as SB) is a United States Navy occupational rating.
Special warfare boat operators drive fast speedboats down narrow, winding rivers, or the open ocean while performing high speed, medium range, all weather insertion/extraction of special operations forces, maritime interdiction operations, tactical swimmer operations, intelligence collection, operation deception, and coastal patrol.[1]
